Cycling doesn't really works in big cities, but for small towns it's best to have a safety environment for bikers. So my opinion is, provide better public transport service in big cities, and bicycle lanes for small towns.





Maybe by sharing vehicles, fuel price hike will reduce the jam in certain cities as well.. Hopefully yes.With the rise in oil prices worldwide...and global warming...do u think it best to...??
no. it does not seem a viable way of coping with the price. while putting bicycle lanes is good and may encourage people to cycle but no one really is going to cycle JUST BECAUSE petrol price has gone up.





if the govt thinks the lanes should be built they should have been built long ago, otherwise it will be just another excuse for it to say ';we HELPED by building bicycle lanes'; which will be complete crap
Yes, people are getting lazy to exercise nowadays. This is also part of a way to change for a better lifestyle. Look at China, they have no problem traveling with their bicycles. It keeps people healthy, and good for the environment.
Better to have jogging lanes to office ... or better still, our office have domitories ... you no need to go home from Mon to Fri ... only on weekends ... lol ...





Our society need to become like the bee colony ... lol ... all babies put in one place, one school ... lol ...

i cant imagine myself, cycling in bicycle lane next to the road heading for the mall(or anywhere)...
