So what if oil prices go up & gas prices to 5.00 gallon or more,the rich can afford it if you cant to bad ya?

I got %26amp; you dont,,,is that what is next ??So what if oil prices go up %26amp; gas prices to 5.00 gallon or more,the rich can afford it if you cant to bad ya?
In Europe, they've been paying prices like that for YEARS.

If you're unhappy, write to your elected officials and DEMAND some relief. Short-term solutions would be actually drilling for our own oil (gasp!). Building new refineries. Build more nuclear power plants. Actually ALLOW the wind farms.

The environmental movement (which, let's face it, tends to be leftist) needs to shoulder it's fair share of the blame for our current situation - but then, so do we, the people. We have known we need to wean off foreign oil for decades, yet NO ONE has done anything about it. We elect these people to office, then do nothing further but sit back and complain about the job they're doing. Take the bull by the horns. Start a petition. Do SOMETHING. But don't just sit there and whine. We are ALL very fortunate in this country. The poorest Americans would be considered pretty damned well off in a lot of places on this earth.

Finally, freedom comes with responsibility. If we, the people are unwilling to accept that responsibility, we have no one at all to blame but ourselves.So what if oil prices go up %26amp; gas prices to 5.00 gallon or more,the rich can afford it if you cant to bad ya?
at three dollars a gallon we are still cheaper than most countries. it is 1pound per liter in england or about 5.60 a gallon. i am good up until about 5.00 a gallon and i am considerd poor. i just do not drive every time i need to go to the store. more people should try it. check out cnn, global gas prices.
Al Gore told me to ride a bike cause riding in SUV's and private jets weren't as cool as you might think.
there is a point at which people will drastically alter their transportation behaviors.

at that point, the oil companies lose a bundle - and ask for a federal bailout.
I can afford it because I am a high acheiver. All you have to do is become a high acheiver and you too can afford $5 gas.
Job = Money = Gas...
