Is expanding oil production in the US or producing ethanol a better answer to high gas prices?

No. Expanding refining capacity would add more gas into the economy reducing the price due to added supply. U.S. refining capacity has been static for twenty years. I suggest we build refineries on the great lake cities like Cleveland and Detroit where the former auto and steel industries have left huge areas of land vacant and idle.Is expanding oil production in the US or producing ethanol a better answer to high gas prices?
I thought the Alaska pipe line would take care of prices 20+ years ago.. What people need is to stand up to gas company's and get it dropped !!! Kind of like the boston tea party and the RICH GET RICHER as we all stuggle
