Gasoline prices are up 15 cents since the elections, oil prices have been consistantly down. Why?

Not much in the news about the new oil field in the gulf, it's a gusher! But it won't help much with gas since we haven't built a new refinery in 30 yrs.Gasoline prices are up 15 cents since the elections, oil prices have been consistantly down. Why?
The holidays are coming and people will be traveling. Same old profiteering thing that happens all the time no matter who's in office.Gasoline prices are up 15 cents since the elections, oil prices have been consistantly down. Why?
Don't know about your particular area, but they're down about a nickel since the 7th where I live.
Wait until the individual states put their tax on top of it all...Ooohhhh America the Beautiful! We have no oil and no virgins....
Liberals are at it all ready.
PHUCKEN POLITICIANS
Blame Bush everything is his fault:P
That was a Bush fire to win elections just like announcement of punishment to CIA agent Saddam!
Time for the defeatocrats to make a little extra jingle!
Supply and demand. If you notice, the north has been hit with some heavy snow and Colorado has been slammed. This drives up the demand for fuels, like heating oil and gas, so, the price will creep up.

It happens every year and depending on how rough winter is, cost could go higher. OPEC is talking about cutting production so, that will cause the price to go up. Sure would be nice to be drilling and producing our own oil from the coasts of California and Florida. Would mean less dependence on OPEC and their oil.
clearly the anticipation of the impending confiscatory tax increases by the dems...higher prices makes additional taxes unpleasant and harder to pass.
One word ,inventories. They are not making enough to keep up with demand.
