according to news surprisingly demands for oil is less than the amount of the production (at least in these years) so the problem should not refer to the relation between demands and production


the capacity of production of the oil in the OPEC is also limited





in fact it is mostly a political issue ( i.e when israel threatened iran pervious week the price of oil rised 10$ per barrel only in one day


in the other hand you should know that oil is really worthwhile and its real price should be even more than this according to the price of its products like gasoline


a barrel of oil includes 220 liters oil,highest price of one barrel is less than 140$ so cost of each liter of oil is less than 0.64$


i know about the refinary costs but its actually much less than the current price of gasoline


(5 or 6 years ago the price of oil was only 10$ (less than 0.05$ !!!)





anyway one good way to make the oil prices falling is that the political issues decrease whole of the world
Actually, nothing will. You cant 'stop using oil' and yes, theres a virtual monopoly on crude oil by OPEC, as we buy almost exclusively from the Middle East.





Transportation? Most everything you have is a product of crude oil. How do you think plastic is made? Its a crude oil product. Stop driving? Fine. Stop buying anything while youre at it. Stop buying software, toothbrushes, drinks/bottles, shampoo, etc. What? You cant? Then youre stuck. Thanks for shopping crude oil!
There is only one way for the oil prices to fall.





Make the demand for it greatly decrease so that it is well below the supply.





That overage of oil would make them sell it for whatever they could get for it.





To do that, we would have to drastically change our way of life and really, truly work on getting transportation that does not run on gasoline.
1) stregnthen the dollar by instituting sound monetary policies


2) close the Enron loophole with regards to commodities trading


3)reduce demand or increase supply your choice
Yes stop using forgin countries to get oil and get hyprids or find other ways to get transportition try to save gas is the way to go

you could carry them up onto the top of them empire state building and drop them...i think that would be a pretty big fall...
Stop using it completely. It's all supply vs demand. Economics 101.

Park your car and take a bike,bus,share a ride with a coworker.
Stop using cars and take public transports.
We could do nothing as the decisions are in the hands of people we nothing about and probably never will,,,
Stop driving and take mass transit.
stay home. ride cards that take less gas
Walk.


Get some exercise.
