Oil prices will reach 120$ soon!!!!! what do you think about it?

gasoline prices will be sooo high, and then dollar will be more devaluated!!!!!!Oil prices will reach 120$ soon!!!!! what do you think about it?
it sucks....but what are you gonna do......i will just stay at home more and take the bus or something.....Oil prices will reach 120$ soon!!!!! what do you think about it?
Gasoline prices do not ';devalue'; the dollar. The fact you spend more, doesn't change the value of the dollar. Other economic factors change the value of the dollar.

What do I think?

Is it really a surprise? China and India are on the rise, consuming more oil. While we Americans bought bigger gas hogs and also consumed more oil?

It was inevitable.

Increase consumption = Increase demand = Increased Prices

We are our own worst enemy.
There are at least two schools of thought. School one: we have global demand for oil and it will keep prices high and rising. School two: like all bubbles this one will pop and gas will go down about 80 cents per gallon. My sense is that there is some truth to both positions. If you are in the market for a car you can hedge your bet by buying a Prius or a regular gaoline engine vehicle that gets outstanding mileage. If you are an investor I'd probably stay out of oil stocks - they are waaaay up because people who thought this was going to happen bought them six months ago (me included).
Many things and the only good one is that it has some people thinking differently about energy. What I find amazing is how little this topic is addressed in politics. With gas over three fifty a gallon, some people think we should just drill more holes in the ground and to hell with the shoreline around the gulf coast and Alaska. It makes me wonder what it's going to take for us to change. Will we only change when it comes to either eating or putting gas in the car? The higher the price of crude rises, the more the dollar will lose value. Oil is traded in dollars around the world.
These prices are not be set by the oil companies but by Wall Street!

Investors by the oil as futures and sell them back to the oil companies who sell us the gas at higher prices, profit for both!

God bless free enterprise!

';America's youth have drank the poisoned kool-aide of a presidential candidate who is only good at making speeches';

in reference to Obama, Quoted from Author J.C. ';Jake'; Laughton
It's time Americans stood up for their rights You are letting the big guys take over and cripple this country. Stop buying gas for a few days and watch what happens, they will Have to bring down the prices. High gas prices causes the rise of EVERYTHING else. let's do something about it.. Stop the madness. are becoming like simple minded children you take what ever crap is handed to you and do nothing about it.
Every time gas goes up it just means there will be more people that will have to make a choice between eating or having a roof over there head. My husband and I both work and we are both looking for a second job, just to make ends meet.

The streets are going to be filled with homeless people and families before too long.
We hold the key for lower fuel bills. If we would all pledge not to drive a car just one weekend a month would make a difference. To augment that we need to stop using drive through conveniences as well. Back in the early 90's I read that we Americans burn over a million gallons a day by using drive throughs. I wonder how much it is today?
That's why we need to band together and do something about, both parties have proven they won't so the people do. There are a number of different ways to accomplish this through boycotts or even just changing our habits as a country. Unfortunately it will be very hard to set this up
I liked it better when we anguised over $30 oil !
The environmentalist whackos won't let us drill so now wallow in your ignorance, Bozo's.
Don't really like it, but I have made the appropriate financial changes, so I am ready and will adjust.
I think its time for us to quit burning soo much gasoline.
we are all fvcked.

run for the hills.
Why don't we starting buying oil in Euros and get the crash over with?
Yes sir! We should have never capped our lines. Thank you Jimmy Carter!
