Gas and oil prices are more than double since bush took over U.S presidency; war lost in Irak?

Is America more secure or insecure before and after Irak invasion?Gas and oil prices are more than double since bush took over U.S presidency; war lost in Irak?
Oil and gas prices are not due to the presidency, regardless of who the president is, or how unpopular or how popular he may be. Oil prices are set by OPEC. We do not import gasoline, we import crude. The crude then goes through the American refineries. Many of our refineries were destroyed in Katrina, no new ones have been built in this country since the 70's, and several of the ones in operation have experienced explosions and fires lately. There is a whole host of factors driving up the cost of oil, and none of those reasons lay at Bush's feet, or Clintons, or the next president's.Gas and oil prices are more than double since bush took over U.S presidency; war lost in Irak?
Oil is still too cheap - In Europe people pay $6.00 to $7.00 per gallon of gas. If we weren't spending hundreds of billions of dollars in an effort to keep a ready supply of cheap oil, we would be better off in the long run - and we would save some oil for the next generation which is the moral thing to do. Americans act like they are in a race to use up all the oil in the world as fast as possible.
You can't place all the blame on one person. You can blame the gov. as a whole but all the high price money grubbing started long ago.
he';s a numnut
There is plenty of blame to go around. From the war, to lack of self-reliance, to people wasting resources, to greedy oil companies, and to every person who makes three trips to a store a every few days instead of getting everything they need at once.
you want to blame anyone for the oil prices blame the idiots buying all those big SUV/trucks you see down the road that gull up all that gas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
