Do you think oil prices will fall?

Yes oil prices will fall, but gasoline prices won't. I think they have fuel costs were they want them.Do you think oil prices will fall?
you might want to rephrase that question... oil prices are extremely volatile, they're rising and falling all the time. So in the short term, yes, they definitely will fall, I can assure you.

In the medium and long term, no, I doubt it... the supply of oil is very inelastic, you can only find any more oil if you're lucky. Plus you can charge very high prices, and people won't stop buying it.

In the very long term, you'd think we might manage sustainable alternative technologies... and then, since we've got alternatives, the price will have to be reduced.Do you think oil prices will fall?
If you have paid attention you would know that oil has fallen from 147 to 122 since President Bush made his speech lifting the Executive Ban on off-shore drilling. In addition, demand in the USA is down since we have driven something like 10 Billion miles less than previous year, buying Hybrid Cars and such. Concern with our economy and weak dollar also are part of the equation as well, oil is not as volatile as some would think, there have been several attacks in Central America on Oil pipelines and a Hurricane in the Gulf and prices still went down. This is good, however, now that we are driving less, the DOT is getting less money to repair our roads and bridges since .50 of every gallon used goes to the DOT.
Eventually.

When things stabilize in Iraq, Britain sorts out its offshore rigs, the US re-opens its wells and Canada increases its production.

South America is awash with oil. Brazil announced earlier this year a new oil field off its coast and Argentina is looking at prospecting down in the south Atlantic. Venezuela is on a roll.

Just a matter of time now until it settles.
NO CHANCE.

In c1960 when I as a young soldier serving in Cyprus, a barrell of oil then was about 12pence - now look at it!

I heard one NYSE speculator on TV suggesting that oil could climb to a staggering $300 a barrell before year's end. But hey, he was a speculator, so what the Hell does he know?

Anyway, the oil problems now confronting both the USA and UK will be resolved and very soon.

After you have visited the links below, you'll understand why UK expended so much time and effort claiming back the Falklands from the Argentine invaders. What Ronnie Regan called, ';this bunch of rocks';.

Temporarily, but they could go up agian on any bad news especially from Iran. They'll become more stable once we open up offshore drilling and start adding to the oil supply.

The Republicans...this isn't just about driving. People can't afford food or home heating oil. It's much more serious than you think.
Prices will fall when more alternatives are used for fuel. Some innovative people are use hydrogen gas . In this part of the world gasoline is still cheaper than a liter of water. What do you think you can live without?
No,no matter who is elected,or where we drill. Peak oil is here. I can't understand why people so easily accepted global warming, but not the energy crisis.
Oil prices will fall but so will the US dollar against other currencies thus offsetting the gains for americans. The US government is not really interested in a oil price fall though.
yes.

just as soon as the US makes the commitment to undertake a national comprehensive mission to provide our own energy for ourselves.
No.

In fact, they need to go higher. We need to make the prices so high, people will have to find means of transport other than driving.
It is the peculiar characteristic of the prices that once they fly they never fall.
No, because it keeps people submissive and in one area.
yes. they're already down to like $120 from $150 a barrel

itll happen..just gotta wait a bit
yes, and btw, you spelt 'Presley' wrong in your name, douche.
Do you think money will fall from the sky as well?
NEVER!
Yes.
They always have.
nope they will rise until it's all gone
I very much hope so.
yes they will in time ..
