If you remember when oil approached three dollars and retreated a tad bit, we all went, ';phew!';.. but it never went down any further.





This is the same situation.





It's like we are getting more and more acclimated to high prices.





That and inflation going off like crazy. The Bush administration stopped reporting the M3 money supply in 06.. a key to determining the real amount of inflation. The result is a false number that does not reflect the true skyrocketing inflation numbers.

It's the American way to raise price at a moment's notice but dropping the price takes longer. I'm in business and even though I'm not like most, I see where it's a good business practice to raise quick but not lower unless you have to.

It affects demand, and it also scares or promotes speculators to buy or sell oil futures.
dunno, but lets start supplying middle east with BEAN-O, if thats what it will take to bring down oil prices!
Just more evidence that the gas prices are set by the producers based on what we're willing to let them get away with...
