If the Iraq war was all about ';Stealing Iraq's oil'; then why have we been paying full market price and not....?

stolen a drop?If the Iraq war was all about ';Stealing Iraq's oil'; then why have we been paying full market price and not....?
It's not about oil. If it was, we would've invaded Iran or Saudi Arbia, both back in 2003 had a decent terrorist influence and massive oil reserves... Did we do that? No...

We could also drill here like the EXPERTS not the politicans said. We do have more oil and coal than the middle east and we could easily use nuclear power... The french get 70% of their power from nukes...If the Iraq war was all about ';Stealing Iraq's oil'; then why have we been paying full market price and not....?
You should not believe media or the wests enemies propaganda, It was in their interests to keep Iraq down , but now thar Iraq have tasted the freedom of democracy it will be very difficult for the religious nutcases to take it over , and turn it into another terrorist training ground. We have in fact placed a fox in the chicken coup, And foxes love to breed , When other Arabs see Iraq's freedoms and prosperity it will be hard for the radicals to keep the other extremist Arab countries people in line . As is now happening in Iran and China.
Because only an idiot would think that. If it was all about oil, we would not be leaving, and we would have created a puppet government, one that really liked us, and as you stated not paying high prices.
They're actually starting the ';sell off'; today in Baghdad. All the big oil boys are there bidding for a share.

The only reason you're paying through the nose is to increase the profitability of the big boys.
Yes... And if you look at how much money has been spent on military to occupy/invade Iraq and the BILLIONS contributed by coalition forces to rebuild the country, its simply unethical to say it was to steal oil.
bush's BIG OIL buddies are cashing in

common cents
I have to agree with you: in the end, Iraq was about absolutely nothing. Those poor troops died for nothing. Thanks George.
Leave it to a Bush to start a War for Oil and lose both the Oil AND the War.
We're paying the full market price, which is high, and thus Bush's bon amis are making lots of money.
Because the people who repackage and sell the oil to you are not nice...

Next?
it isnt
well at least it is back under the control of the $ and not the Euro
One word: Speculators.
